The United States is one of the world’s leading countries in organic dairy products consumption, owing to preference for sustainable products, environmental and animal welfare, and health concerns among consumers. Organic dairy products are the second-leading food category after fresh fruits and vegetables. Consumers prefer organic dairy products due to the nutritive content of these products. Among all organic dairy products, the consumption of organic milk is highest, followed by organic cheese. Organic milk is consumed by more than 60 million people in the country. The organic cheese market is flourishing in the US due to nutritional factors and a variety of flavors, which is expected to continue in the future. The number of dairies producing organic milk is increasing, taking into account the growing demand. The percentage of cows certified to produce organic milk has increased to around 19.87% in the last two years.
